On Earth day it feels like the right time to share how Bloom is trying to minimize our ecological footprint.  We are working to get better every day, but here are some things we are happy to do as custodians of the Earth’s precious resources.

Since Bloom Jewelry is hand-crafted to order here in Denver, CO, we don’t have wasteful stockpiles of previous collections on hand.  And because we offer a lifetime guarantee on each Bloom piece, you can feel good about wearing your jewelry every day, unlike our fast fashion competitors produced overseas.   We also recycle all of our metal scraps, ensuring nothing goes to waste.    

Our packaging is recyclable. From the shipping mailer, to the jewelry box to the tissue paper, all can be recycled. We encourage reuse on our jewelry boxes, as they are built sturdy and great for travel. We also offer a box credit for those who bring their boxes back to reuse towards their next purchase. And we now have reusable Bloom pouches available as well.

Though small plastic baggies are a reality for us in studio, in both our production and shipping processes, we use them repeatedly until they fall apart.  We teach our stores and customers to also re-use their baggies as they are a perfect travel tool for keeping jewelry untangled.
