This last year, Bloom Jewelry tripled the size of our staff. And we couldn’t be happier to spend our days with these lovely ladies. So it seems fitting that we introduce you to our (expanded) team on their 1st Employee Appreciation Day in the studio. (However, everyday day is Employee Appreciation Day here- we just love them!!!)

 

LINDSAY BLOOM BACKMAN | OWNER AND HEAD OF DESIGN

What is your hometown? New London, Connecticut. We rent a house every summer with my parents and siblings and take our kids back to the beach we grew up on. It’s my favorite time of the year!

What are your hobbies? Jewelry design was my first hobby I can remember. As a teenager I apprenticed with a jewelry designer and found my passion. Now with two little boys and a business I don’t get a lot of time for hobbies. But I am okay with that since my earliest hobby is what I do for a living.

What is an usual fact about you? Both my mom and dad both had the same last name, “Bloom” before getting married. I swear they were not related! Being a traditionalist I wanted to take my husbands last name when we got married but I wanted to honor my maiden name and both sides of my family thus arriving at “Bloom” jewelry.

Where do you want to travel? Greek islands…I am headed there this summer for our 10 year wedding anniversary! Can’t wait to check it off our bucket list! I am envisioning a blue and white Greek inspired collection coming soon. . .

What is your favorite place you have visited? Anywhere with a beach. . . I am at my happiest with my toes in the sand, covered in salt water, and soaking in sunshine.

What is your favorite food? Fresh Bread and Gourmet Cheese. My two all time favorite cheeses are Midnight Moon and Brilliat Savarin.

What is your favorite Bloom Jewelry that you can’t live without? My rotation of Bloom Pave Studs. I am always wearing a pair of them. In my rotation…bar studs, tear studs, leaf climbers, and baguette studs.

STACY MCELHANY RODGERS | SALES DIRECTOR / HEAD OF OPERATIONS

What is your hometown? Pleasanton, CA. East of San Francisco.

What are your hobbies? Reading, eating & trying new cuisine, traveling around the world, enjoying the arts

What is an usual fact about you? I’m perfectly normal. Why? What have you heard?

Where do you want to travel? EVERYWHERE!

What is your favorite place you have visited? I fall in love with every place I visit, but France has a very special place in my heart.

What is your favorite food? That’s a tough one. And it depends on the day. I love to eat!!! It’s easier to answer what my least favorite food is. And that answer is salmon.

What is your one piece (or more) of Bloom Jewelry that you can’t live without? My pave diamond dagger studs have become staples in my wardrobe. And I love the Signature Bangle Lindsay made me- I wear it every day.

 

CHRISTINA ARGO | HEAD OF PRODUCTION

What is your hometown? Born in Grand Junction, raised in Denver, CO.

What are your hobbies? I love to get out of the house to experience new things and be active. I enjoy anything surrounding sports; watching and playing them. I cherish my time in the outdoors. My happy place is outside with my family, especially on the lake.

What is an unusual fact about you? I am fascinated by anything true crime and psychology related.

Where do you want to travel? I don’t think there is a place I don’t want to travel to.

What is your favorite place you have visited? Ambergis Caye, Belize. It was such a beautiful place and forced me to finally slow down for a few days.

What is your favorite food? Tacos, Cauliflower Hot Wings, any fruits and vegetables!

What is your favorite Bloom Jewelry that you can’t live without? I have a few pieces you will almost always catch me in, my signature wrap hoops and ring. However, I absolutely adore all of my Rose Gold Pave pieces. Rose Gold anything has a special place in my heart so whenever I wear my rose gold Bloom pieces it feels extra special.

 

EMILY FRITZ | INVENTORY MANAGER

What is your hometown? Ouray, Colorado.

What are your hobbies? Blogging, drawing/fashion illustration, sewing, lifestyle photography, and baking.

What is an usual fact about you? When I was younger I wanted to study astrology.

Where do you want to travel? If I have the opportunity I want to travel the world!

What is your favorite place you have visited? I haven’t traveled much yet, but my favorite place so far would have to be Washington, DC and Virginia.

What is your favorite food? Home made pizza.

What are your hobbies? I enjoy spending my free time drawing, knitting, gardening and researching everything I didn’t learn about in college.

Where do you want to travel? I would like to travel to Vietnam, South Africa, Brazil and Greenland.

What is your hometown? Dillon, CO

What are your hobbies? Snowboarding/ splitboarding, rafting, wakesurfing, hiking, camping, cooking, art, and puppies.

What is an usual fact about you? I am allergic to avocado and banana

Where do you want to travel? I want to go to Patagonia on my next big trip.

What is your favorite place you have visited? I can’t pick a favorite trip, but my top 3 were New Zealand, Croatia, and Fiji.

What is your favorite food? Garlic

KELSEY (KELZ) SAILSBERY | PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

What is your hometown? Fourth Generation Colorado Native – Golden, CO

What are your hobbies? I grew up with a strong love for the outdoors: snowboarding, climbing, camping & scuba. I also have a passion for arts and culture: travelling, photography, ceramics, jewelry & underwater basket weaving.

What is an unusual fact about you? I practice kung fu and fire dancing.

Where do you want to travel? As far culturally as I can.

What is your favorite place you have visited? Puerto Morelos, fire spinning on the beach during sunrise with Eric, Diana and Lalo.

What is your favorite food? It is hard to pick one thing. My favorites from a few different cultures are; Memphis style BBQ, dim sum, bahn mi, shabu shabu, marquesitas, fondue. I can’t forget Grandpa’s Jimmy Dean Casserole & Grandma’s crescent cookies.

What are your hobbies? Video games, board games, watching great films, stencil art and handing out with my best friend and boyfriend, Jordan

What is an unusual fact about you? My grandparents own a candy factory in the mountains here in Colorado! I spent my summers munching on and packaging up all the candies you could think of.

Where do you want to travel? Someday I will go to Tibet and Nepal with my Mum, someday!

What is your favorite place you have visited? I visited South Korea and instantly fell in love, I would move there in a heartbeat!

What is your favorite food? I’m a sucker for sushi!
